Rival's Pizza at 4436, 2115 West Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, Ohio.

Have had Rival's pizza several times and the first time I thought it was out of this world. After ordering it on another occasion, I got a strange taste of something in the crust - cinnamon. Although it wasn't unpleasant, it was a strange ingredient to get a taste of in a pizza. The third time I ordered, the cinnamon taste wasn't present. Not sure if this an ingredient in their pizza but either way, a very good pizza place. Don't let the street appearance stop you from trying this great local pizza.

So I asked Google maps to take me to the best pizza place between my current location and home and it led us to Rival's. As other reviewers mentioned, it is not much to look at from the road but the interior is classic pizza joint with a few tables and a ton of nostalgic sports memorabilia. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is fantastic. The loaded chicken things are a unique item that really sets the place apart. Skip this place if you are looking for fancy but if you just want good food in a fun little spot do not hesitate.
