I took my car to Kia for another oil change and found out there was a recall. They performed the work for the recall. When I got in the car to leave the check engine light was on and there was a squeaking noise coming from the right front of the car. Did the guy who fixed it and drove it out not hear the noise and SEE THE CHECK ENGINE light on?! I had to go back in and by then it was too late so they had to give me a rental. I went in with NO issues and when they were done the engine light is on and it's squeaking?! They broke the car, it wasn't broken before I took it there!!

The vehicle maintenance department is not what I would call the best or even close to the best. I have not had good luck with them at all. It takes about TWO HOURS for them to change the oil. This wasn't a one time thing either...every time it takes two hours. They give no updates and if you do ask how much longer it will be they tell you it's almost done when it's nowhere near being done. They told me they checked the fluids and topped them off. They lied. I left the dealership and drove home. Smoke was coming out from under the hood. I figured I better not drive any more that night. I let the car cool down and checked the oil which was full but the wiper fluid only had a tiny bit in the tank. When I left the next morning there was a puddle of oil under the car. It was the first oil change so it shouldn't have a leak yet. I went back and asked them to check it out. Apparently they spilled oil all over the top of the engine and it ran all over and made a puddle in the driveway. I also asked why the wiper fluid was not filled when they specifically stated that it was on the paperwork. I got major attitude from the service guy for that one. It was their fault not mine. Don't say you filled it when you didn't! I spent 2 hours waiting for an oil change and they couldn't even do that tiny thing right? I am not sure I would trust them to do anything major with my car. I also emailed about the situation and got a bunch of blah blah blah back. Just a pile of excuses.

The next time I got the oil changed it was one hour and fifty minutes. They improved a little on the time. If they are going to schedule XX amount of oil changes they should have enough staff there to do the work. There isn't an excuse for routine oil changes taking this long. I make an appointment, arrive on time and wait forever because they don't have enough people to do the work that is scheduled ahead of time.

I am due for my 15,000 maintenance checkup. I am hoping they can get that done in one day.
